WiMi Hologram Cloud, a provider of Hologram AR technology, has introduced a weighted PBFT algorithm designed to increase throughput, reduce latency, and enhance the fault-tolerant performance of the Blockchain.

The consensus algorithm is customized to meet specific use scenarios of the Blockchain. The weighted PBFT algorithm is an improved version of the practical byzantine fault tolerance (PBFT) algorithm in which each node is assigned a weight value that reflects its importance and capability.

During the algorithm’s operation, the node will decide the impact of its vote based on its weight value, which will affect the final consensus result.
