South Korean video game maker ME2ON Co.’s blockchain mainnet, MEVerse, inked a partnership with Com2uS Corp.’s blockchain game platform XPLA, according to ME2ON on Wednesday.
XPLA is a blockchain mainnet involving not only the Com2uS Group but also global web 3 companies, including Oasys, Animoca Brands Corp., and Yield Guild Games (YGG).
ME2ON’s MEVerse has built various blockchain infrastructures, including a non-fungible token exchange and a decentralized exchange based on the company’s mainnet. With this partnership, MEVerse and XPLA plan to share web 3 game content and blockchain technology and jointly organize user-participation events to expand the presence of blockchain games.
“We plan to provide multifaceted support to gamers from both parties, offering a more diverse range of game content and experiences along with XPLA,” MEVerse Labs Chief Executive Officer Hong Jong-ho said.
“By collaborating together on various projects, we aim to broaden the horizons of the web 3 industry and contribute to blockchain’s popularization,” XPLA leader Paul Kim said.
