InfiniGods has partnered with Arbitrum to integrate the blockchain with InfiniGods‘ King of Destiny Web3 mobile game.

InfiniGods is integrating King of Destiny into the Arbitrum Gaming Ecosystem. Effective immediately, players will experience a seamless transition to Arbitrum’s blockchain, enhancing the game through invisible wallets, high-speed signless transactions, and a dynamic mobile marketplace.

King of Destiny is an addition to the ‘Luck-Battle’ genre, and it draws inspiration from games like CoinMaster and MonopolyGo. Players embark on a journey to test their luck, conquer civilizations, construct mythical cities, and vanquish legendary monsters in pursuit of fame, fortune, and glory.

InfiniGods started in 2021 with the goal of bringing Web3 Mobile Gaming to the masses. Its founders are Damon Gura (ex-CEO DGN Games) and Owen O’Donoghue (ex-director of Gaming, Meta), and its team is comprised of Web3 veterans & ex-Scopely, Zynga & Machine Zone employees. The company has raised $16 million in equity across two financing rounds, and it has 15 employees.

King Of Destiny is inspired by ancient mythology and its beloved characters and myths. Players journey through historic pantheons and civilizations, meeting famous heroes such as Hercules, Ares, and Athena along the way. Using luck and cunning, they can battle monsters such as Cerberus, Hydra, and Grendel en route to fame, fortune, and glory. Players can choose to help or hinder each other along the way!

In terms of gameplay, King Of Destiny takes inspiration from popular “luck battle” titles MonopolyGo! and CoinMaster.

InfiniGods is taking King of Destiny to Arbitrum.

Gura said in a statement that Arbitrum’s network and its community will help scale King of Destiny to a global audience.

“Arbitrum is the ideal network for King of Destiny,” said Gura. “Their low transaction costs, fast transaction speeds, and bustling community provide us with the environment and resources to scale King of Destiny while delivering a next-generation player experience through blockchain technology.”

With the integration of Arbitrum, King of Destiny introduces a host blockchain features, including the acquisition of Fate, a unique in-game currency. Through gameplay progression and competition, players can accumulate Fate, which can be stored in Piggy Banks, on-chain digital collectibles freely tradable on the marketplace. Moreover, Fate can be used to acquire rare Avatars through an exhilarating pack-opening experience, enriching the game’s narrative and enhancing player engagement.

David Bolger, senior partnerships manager at Offchain Labs, said in a statement, “With features like Fate and Piggy Banks, the team is showing how web3 technology can elevate gameplay and player experience. We’re excited for the growing gaming community on Arbitrum to get their hands on KOD.”

The announcement coincides with InfiniGods’ live demo showcase in collaboration with Arbitrum at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco.

The Arbitrum Foundation supports and nurtures the growth of the Arbitrum network and its community by providing secure scaling solutions for Ethereum. Arbitrum One, a leading Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution developed by Offchain Labs, offers ultra-fast, low-cost transactions with security derived from Ethereum through Optimistic Rollup technology. With over 2,000 DeFi and NFT projects live in the ecosystem, Arbitrum One is focused on decentralized finance and digital ownership.

Launched in August 2021, the Arbitrum One mainnet beta is EVM-compatible to the bytecode level and has 54%+ TVL in the L2 segment. In August 2022, Arbitrum One upgraded to the Nitro tech stack, enabling fraud proofs over the core engine of Geth compiled to WASM.

King Of Destiny and its “Piggy Bank” feature is the first step to revolutionizing how people play free-to-play mobile games. The InfiniGods’ approach to off-chain to on-chain trading (virtual currency —> NFT) hands over a slice of the game’s economy to players and lets them freely trade consumables amongst one another.

This allows them to own and monetize their experience, if they so choose. InfiniGods (the developer) does not sell these assets or currencies directly; they’re purely sourced from players. The Arbitrum blockchain validates these trades and guarantees transparent, seamless, trust-based transactions between players

Asked what is attractive about the blockchain, Arbitrum said the Arbitrum blockchain combines fast, seamless, low-cost transactions with the security of the Ethereum blockchain. We believe to help onboard the masses to Mobile Web3 Gaming the blockchain components should be as frictionless and invisible as possible to players — and this is what Arbitrum specializes in. Transactions on Arbitrum typically cost <$.005/ea, which allows InfiniGods to sponsor these costs and hide them from players altogether.

Additionally, Arbitrum has a blossoming ecosystem with some of the top teams and games in emergent blockchain gaming, including Treasure, Proof Of Play, Pixel Vault, XAI, and more. InfiniGods is excited to build alongside these teams and utilize Arbitrum’s collective network effects to accelerate user acquisition and adoption.
