Aleph Zero Foundation Launches CTRL+Hack+ZK, a Global Blockchain Hackathon with $575K in Bounties

In an official release today, Aleph Zero Foundation has announced the launch of its CTRL+Hack+ZK, a three-week virtual hackathon event offering up to $575k in bounties and funding opportunities.

The development follows the company’s collaboration with Telekom MMS, a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary, stc Bahrain, Heartcore Capital, Arca Finance, Cardinal Cryptography, and other esteemed partners.

Scheduled to be held from January 10th to January 31st, 2024, the event aims to foster innovation and collaboration within the blockchain space, offering developers, both seasoned and new to Web3, a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a comprehensive hacking experience.

With up to $575K in bounties and funding opportunities, CTRL+Hack+ZK stands as Aleph Zero’s most immersive hacking event. Notable partnerships include MMS Telekom, Saudi Telecom Bahrain, Cardinal Cryptography, and Heartcore Capital. The hackathon boasts diverse tracks with prizes ranging from $2K to USD 20K from a USD 75K pool, along with the opportunity for fast-track funding of up to $500K.

The hackathon tracks include Telco, DeFi, DiD, Gaming, Tooling, and Infrastructure. These tracks encourage developers to leverage Aleph Zero’s advanced tools for transforming the telecom sector, crafting unique DeFi solutions, exploring identity-related solutions, developing NFT-based in-game items, and enhancing tooling and infrastructure around Aleph Zero.

According to the announcement, the schedule includes an Aleph Zero ecosystem Town Hall on January 10th, followed by workshops, intensive hacking sessions, and a demo day. Winners will be announced on February 5th, with prizes, mentorship opportunities, and potential inclusion in the Aleph Zero Ecosystem Funding Program.
