Delft-based RTI Blockchain, a company that offers digital management for reusable transport items in the logistics sector, has secured €2.5M in a fresh round of funding.

The Dutch startup aims to transform blockchain into the world’s leading solution to manage load carriers.

Investors in this round

The diverse group of investors includes experts in technology, logistics, and the Borski Fund.

Bertrand van Leersum and Simone Brummelhuis of Borski Fund say, “We are delighted to support the growth of RTI Blockchain and are excited about the innovative approaches the team has developed for the logistics sector.”

“Our investment in RTI Blockchain reflects our commitment to investing in technologies that have a positive impact on various industries and the use of reusable assets.”

Borski Fund, a Dutch VC fund, invests €50M in tech companies led by diverse management teams, prioritising female tech entrepreneurs to address the gender gap.

Founded by Simone Brummelhuis and Laura Rooseboom, the fund focuses on the future of health, sustainable industries, and fashion tech, with over 80 per cent of its portfolio in AI-enabled businesses.

Capital utilisation

RTI Blockchain will use the funds to strengthen its position in logistics, support international expansion, and enhance its dashboard features like cost control in the logistics process, easy tracking items, and compliance with load carrier registration regulations.

Founders of RTI Blockchain, Milou Klooster and Yves du Bois say, “This investment marks a significant milestone in the growth of RTI Blockchain. We look forward to working with partners who share our vision and will help us transform the logistics sector through effective technology in digital load carrier management.”

“This allows us to further develop our innovative solutions and serve our customers even better. We also anticipate with our dashboard new legislation, which will make it mandatory to register load carriers; our solution makes this as simple as possible.”
